Cenotes, sacred places for the ancient Mayas, are unique in the world and these amazing and magical natural spaces, give us a mysterious and fabulous diving experience. The sun’s rays reflect on the water of the cenotes in the mornings.
We leave Scuba Playa at 8:40 am in comfortable vans, and once at the Cenote, after a brief informative explanation, we get ready for the first dive. We do an intermission on the surface and dive again in another line of the same Cenote system. After the second dive, we load the vans and return to Scuba Playa arriving at approximately 3 pm.
The water temperature inside the Cenotes is very comfortable, approximately 25°C / 77° F. Even so, we recommend wearing a long wetsuit. A lamp is also required to be able to observe the formations inside the cenote. This is provided by us and is included in the price.
Our safety rules do not allow more than four divers per guide. Our guides are Full Cave certified and have completed the “Cavern Guide” program to guide in this region.
The tour includes two dives, one guide for every four divers, ground transportation from Scuba Playa to the Cenote and back, entrance fee, tanks, weights and a light lunch. We also have options to dive deeper Cenotes such as Angelita or El Pit.
